We are looking for an Engineering Manager with a Level four academic degree +10 years of work experience. The incumbent will have to:
- Lead/Manage employees/consultants, approximately 15-25 FTC/FTE (software engineers, architects, BAs, Scrum Masters).
- Accountable for all deliveries in the assigned area.
- Implement the Technical roadmap.
- Act as the escalation point for Scrum master/Team coaches.
- Help with maintenance to ensure our services have the best quality and follow SLAs.
- Have budget responsibility to forecast, prepare estimates and follow-up.
- Enable and support continuous improvement.
- Recruit of employees/consultants and ensure team/employee stability.
- Provide a competence strategy for employees and consultants Who are you?.
- Have experience in leading engineering teams or from technical leaderships roles.
- Have experience from Agile software organizations.
- Like to drive transformation and setting the direction for the team.
- Have strong collaboration and communications skills as you will work with many stakeholders and this is crucial, to secure a common understanding and pre-requisites for innovation and customer driven way of working.
- Make mistakes and learn from them.
- Be outspoken and get things done.
- Have in interest in following new Agile frameworks and tech trends.
